EK-FC680 GTX DCII - Nickel is a high performance full-cover water block for engineered specifically for ASUS design GeForce GTX 680- as well as GTX 770 DirectCU II series graphics cards. Please check our Cooling Configurator online compatibility system for detailed compatibility list!
This water block directly cools the GPU, RAM as well as VRM (voltage regulation module) as water flows directly over these critical areas thus allowing the graphics card and it's VRM to remain stable under high overclocks. EK-FC680 GTX DCII water block also features a very high flow design therefore it can be easily used in liquid cooling systems using weaker water pumps.
Base is made of nickel plated electrolytic copper while the top is made of quality POM Acetal material. The sealing is performed by quality rubber washers. Screw-in brass standoffs are pre-installed and allow for safe, painless installation procedure. Block is mounted with enclosed M3x4 DIN7985 screws and plastic washers.
EKWB recommends the purchase of aesthetic retention backplate (EK-FC680 GTX DCII Backplate - Black) which improves the looks of your graphics cards and also provide some passive cooling to the VRM section.
EK also encloses two-slot I/O bracket which replaces the original three-slot, in order to make installation of mutliple graphics cards easier.
Up to four EK-FC680 DCII series water blocks can be interconnected with EK-FC Bridge & Link system. The correct connection link for this water block is already enclosed with the product.

This is the 2nd generation Vector GPU water block from the EK® Quantum Line, designed for EVGA® FTW3 RTX 3070 and FTW3 RTX 3070 Ti graphics cards based on the latest NVIDIA® Ampere™ architecture. EK-Quantum Vector FTW3 3070 Ti D-RGB water block is compatible with FTW3 RTX 3070 and 3070 Ti graphics cards. The Vector water block actively cools the GPU, VRAM, power stages, and chokes in the VRM (voltage regulation module).
These newly developed water blocks feature optimized flow paths that reduce hydrodynamic instabilities and vortexing (dead spots) inside of them.
The EK-Quantum Vector Series water blocks use an Open Split-Flow cooling engine design, which proved to be a superior solution for GPU water blocks. It is characterized by low hydraulic flow restriction, meaning it can be used with weaker water pumps or pumps running on low-speed settings, and still achieve top performance. The jet plate and fin structure geometry have been optimized to provide even flow distribution with minimal losses and optimal performance when used in any given coolant flow orientation.
The base of the block is CNC-machined out of nickel-plated electrolytic copper, while its top is CNC-machined out of durable POM acetal. These 2nd generation Vector GPU water blocks also feature Acetal terminals. The watertight sealing is ensured by high-quality EPDM O-rings, while brass standoffs are already pre-installed and allow for a safe and easy installation procedure.
The aesthetic corner end-piece is housing the addressable D-RGB LEDs. This water block boasts a total of 8 individually addressable RGB LEDs, and it is compatible with popular RGB sync technologies from all major motherboard manufacturers. The arrow marking on the 3-pin D-RGB LED connector is to be aligned with the +5V marking on the D-RGB (addressable) header.
EK recommends the purchase of a retention backplate, especially for the 3070 models of graphics cards. The backplate improves the overall aesthetics of your graphics cards and also provides additional passive cooling for the GPU core, and backside of the printed circuit board VRM section.
