The Alphacool Aurora Plexi GPX Eisblock combines style with performance and extensive digital RGB lighting. With experience of over 16 years, Alphacool the ability to create GPU blocks that represent high quality and fantastic performance. This perfectly describes the Aurora Plexi GPX Eisblock
More Performance!
During the development of the EIsblock Aurora GPX graphic card GPU block, we wanted to further increase the performance. The first step was to move the cooler closer to the individual components by reducing the thermal pads to a thickness of 1 mm. Next, we reduced the thickness of the nickel-plated copper block. Instead of 7 mm, it is now only 5.5 mm thick. The water flow inside the cooler has also been optimized. All important components such as the voltage transformers and the memory are now significantly better and more effectively cooled by the water. All this ensures a significant increase in cooling performance.
New Design!
The Eisblock Aurora GPX cooler has been designed so that lighting is more important than the previous models. The addressable digital RGB LEDs are embedded directly into the cooling block and run along the entire cooling block. The effect is an illumination of the entire cooling block. No corner or edge remains unlit by the aRGB LEDs. The new design is more angular with all edges bevelled. This promotes better light diffusion in the water cooler due to the reflections on these bevels. In addition, they create various contours, which give the Aurora GPX Eisblock cooler its very own unique identity.
Copper or Aluminium?
Of course, Alphacool only uses copper for its water coolers. With the Aurora GPX Eisblock, the copper is nickel-plated. Compared to its predecessor models, Alphacool has improved the nickel plating even further, which has considerably increased the acid resistance. This means that the nickel should resist flaking. Why does Alphacool rely on copper instead of aluminium? Simply, copper has almost twice the thermal conductivity of aluminium and is therefore clearly the better material for water cooling.
Is There Anything Else New?
The Eisblock Aurora GPX also relies on the new patented stop fittings, which sit flush with the surface of the terminal. The Alphacool logo now sits in the corner on the top and is also fully illuminated. On the front of the terminal you can see the corresponding names of the compatible graphic card types. Of course, these are also fully illuminated by the digital LEDs. IN and OUT are now marked by small triangles. They are easily recognizable and fit perfectly into the entire aesthetics of the graphic card water cooler.
The Alphacool Aurora GPX Plexi is a complete redevelopment of the previous Alphacool graphics card water coolers. No technical compromises were made, but the entire technical know-how flowed into the development and implementation.

EK-Quantum Vector² RE RTX 3080/90 ABP D-RGB - Nickel + Acetal is an Active Backplate addon for the EK-Quantum Vector² RE RTX 3080/90 D-RGB - Nickel + Acetal GPU water block. It is made to actively cool the backside of reference GeForce RTX™ 3080, 3080 Ti, and 3090 RE GPUs. As with the water block, when upgraded with an active backplate, the entire enclosure stays fully EK-Matrix7 compliant on every axis. This ensures ease of integration and alignment with all other EK-Matrix7 products.
For a precise compatibility match of this water block, we recommend you refer to the EK Cooling Configurator.

The EK-Quantum Vector² RE RTX 3080/90 ABP comes with a new terminal that replaces the stock terminal arriving with the Vector² water block and links the water block and Vector Active Backplate into a single unit. This way, the whole enclosure requires only one inlet and one outlet, removing unnecessary additional tubing and reducing clutter. It is the ultimate aesthetic and performance solution that finds your GPU sandwiched between two water blocks, allowing maximum cooling.

The Vector² Active Backplate directly cools the PCB hotspots that are found on the backside of the GPU core and the VRM (voltage regulation module). On the RTX 3090, the VRAM located on the backside is cooled, while the RTX 3080 gets cooling for the PCB located around the front-mounted VRAM. Cooling liquid is channeled over all these critical areas.

These new Vector² Active Backplates feature a Direct Link flow solution - the first multiple block solution to implement a conventional 4-port terminal layout. That allows serial and parallel connections from adjacent or opposing sides of the block. It was made possible by the addition of a machined brass insert that diagonally links the water block directly to the active backplate inside the acetal terminal. Direct Link proves invaluable when incorporating an ABP with a standard distribution plate or vertical GPU mount.

Tactile magnetic covers are used to conceal the terminal screws, which allows rotating the branding when the GPU is inverted in the case.

The base of the active backplate is CNC-machined out of nickel-plated electrolytic copper, while its top is CNC-machined out of durable black Acetal. A black-anodized aluminum side cover is included with every active backplate to conceal the entire PCB and create a seamless enclosure.

A dense D-RGB LED strip illuminates the parting line of the stand-out element on both sides of the block. This subtle effect allows vivid displays of color while the block remains entirely black. The individually addressable RGB LED is compatible with popular RGB sync technologies from all major motherboard manufacturers. The arrow marking on the 3-pin D-RGB LED connector is to be aligned with the +5V marking on the D-RGB (addressable) header.
