EK-Classic GPU Backplate Strix RTX 3070/3080/3090 – Black is a retention backplate CNC-machined from black anodized aluminum and is made for EK-Classic GPU Water Block Strix RTX 3080/3090 D-RGB and EK-Classic GPU Water Block Strix RTX 3070 D-RGB.

This backplate covers the whole length of the graphics card PCB, serves as an aesthetic add-on, and provides additional passive cooling for the GPU core, VRAM on the 3090 cards, and backside of the printed circuit board VRM section.
