The EK-AIO LGA1700 Upgrade Kit includes everything you need to mount your EK-AIO onto the motherboard with an LGA 1700 socket, making it compatible with the latest Intel® Alder Lake processors. The installation process is simple and easy with just two steps. First, mount the new backplate and then re-apply the thermal paste. Detailed information about the installation process can be found below, in the attached PDF file containing the installation manual.

EK-Quantum Vector² RE RTX 3080/90 ABP Side Cover - Nickel is a metal plate covering the gap between the water block and the active backplate. It is made from nickel-plated aluminum. It is used exclusively in conjunction with both the water block and the active backplate.
It hides the terminal side of the PCB, ensuring that no part of the PCB is visible.
