Keyboard, mouse and multi-meda keys: The aquaero 5 operates your PC.

With the aquaremote (already included with the aquaero 5 XT) you receive a fully implemented keyboard and mouse with multi-media keys in combination with an aquaero 5 PRO or aquaero 5 XT.

At any time you can switch between the levels of operation:

For one the remote controller can be used for comfortable manipulation of the aquaero 5, especially text can be entered much more comfortably via the alphanumerical keyboard than when doing it on the aquaero itself.

In PC mode the keyboard commands are passed on by the aquaero via the USB keyboard intercase to your PC. Hence the remote controller is fully functional as a keyboard as early as in the BIOS of your system. Additionally the functionality of the directional pad on the right with the multi-media keys can be switched from keyboard commands to multi-media commands.

The keyboard of the remote unit has German umlauts / mutated vowels and special characters. The currently active keyboard leven (Shift, Ctrl etc.) is shown in the display of the aquaero as a pop-up window. The mouse is controlled via a pad with 8 integrated buttons and also allows movement sideways when two buttons are pressed simultaneously.
