All products sold by the company Doc Micro are guaranteed for 2 years return to the address indicated in paragraph 1, except:
Some manufacturers take direct responsibility for the warranty and must therefore be contacted DIRECTLY. In order to obtain the procedure to follow in this case, you can contact us at the email address: sav@docmicro.com .
Any warranty greater than 1 year and offered by the manufacturer is taken care of directly by the latter.
Depending on the products and the date of purchase, repair is done either by the company Doc Micro, or by the manufacturer directly. For all products sold on our site, the manufacturer's warranty conditions supplied with the products are applicable under these guarantees.
In accordance with article L211-16 of the Consumer Code, any downtime of at least seven days due to the repair of the product covered by the warranty is added to the duration of the warranty initially granted.
The warranty does not cover damage resulting from accidents, misuse or mounting (motherboard pins bent for example), negligence or
significant change in appearance (any product returned with the serial number label missing or torn off may be placed out of warranty).
Any equipment showing signs of shock or overheating, even slight, will lose all warranty rights. These operations engage the sole responsibility of the user and can create risks for the safety of goods and people.
Procedures for implementing guarantees:
For any request to return a product under the warranty, the Customer must imperatively:
- Contact Doc Micro by email at sav@docmicro.com or by mail to the address indicated in paragraph 1.
The company Doc Micro will then determine whether or not to assume responsibility for the warranty and will send the Client the procedures for processing it.
- Return after written agreement from the company Doc Micro and obtaining a return number, the product in its original packaging or in a packaging allowing maximum protection of the article.
The return number provided must be written legibly on the package.
Products returned by carrier without physical protection or poorly protected will not be able to benefit from the guarantee, as well as damaged, worn or soiled products. The Customer must take care to protect and insure the product or products returned during their transport.
Any necessary data backup must be carried out by the Customer prior to the return of the equipment. Doc Micro does not in any way guarantee the data contained on the equipment, nor its recovery. Doc Micro cannot be held responsible for any loss of data on a hard drive or media.
The warranty is expressly limited, at our choice or that of the manufacturer, to the repair or replacement of
parts recognized as defective, subject to agreement to accept the product by the distributor or manufacturer.
The average time for the replacement of a defective product varies depending on the distributor and the availability of the product (repair times approximately 4 to 8 weeks).
We do not replace any product in advance except in the event of an unpacking failure noted by the customer within 7 days of delivery. The software is guaranteed by the author or the distributor of the software in accordance with the conditions set out in the documentation associated with said software. These products are sold without any warranty from the Seller.
We especially draw your attention to the fact that the warranty does not cover normal wear and tear of a product (eg Cartridges, lamps, batteries, etc.).
You are subject to an obligation of prudence in the use of your products. Proof of a failure caused by negligence, deterioration or improper use would render ineffective the guarantees associated with the device (eg. All causes external to the device such as shock, fall, lightning, l (oxidation, repair by an unauthorized person, exposure to heat, foreign bodies, etc.).
In this specific case, the product may be returned to you as is, or repaired upon acceptance and prior payment of an estimate drawn up by the manufacturer.
It is recalled that the company Doc Micro cannot be held responsible in the event of the manufacturer's refusal to apply its warranty for the legitimate reasons set out above.
The "Guarantee Plus" option is offered for all orders, with the exception of orders for destocking items.
This option is invoiced at 6.90% of the amount including tax of the order, excluding delivery costs. The minimum collection is 2 Euros including tax.
If the Purchaser subscribes to it, all the products of the order benefit from the "Guarantee Plus" Option.
In the event of equipment failure during its first year of warranty, the Seller undertakes to establish for the benefit of the Purchaser a credit for the full price initially invoiced.
This credit is valid for 3 months on all the products offered for sale on the DocMicro.com site and will not be subject to any refund.
When requesting the return number, the Buyer must specify to the Seller that he wishes to apply the "Guarantee Plus" Option.
Only breakdowns within the framework of the manufacturer's warranty may give rise to the benefit of the advantages linked to the "Guarantee Plus" Option.
The manufacturer's warranty conditions are described in the "Product warranty" article of these general conditions.
To benefit from the "Guarantee Plus" Option, the Seller will check the following points upon receipt of the product:
