The Alphacool ES Chiller 1000 ServerRack 5U is a compressor cooling system with a maximum cooling capacity of 1000 watts, making it the perfect choice for cooling servers and workstation systems. Equipped with an integrated pump, the chiller takes on the task of circulating and cooling the coolant. Ensuring that the desired temperature is maintained.
All in One
The ES Chiller ServerRack 5U is equipped with a display that can be used to configure various settings, including temperature control in precise 0.3°C increments. The G1/4" connections are compatible with common connections for water cooling systems. A built-in reservoir holds a capacity of 2 liters. Thanks to the integrated pump, with a maximum delivery head of up to 10m, the chiller can be integrated directly into the cooling loop. An extra pump is not necessary. For the sake of additional protection, the chiller is equipped with overvoltage protection for the compressor and has an alarm that warns if the flow rate is too low or the temperature is too high.

The Alphacool ES 1U ServerRack has been specifically optimised to accommodate water cooling sets that can dissipate up to 490W of waste heat in this enclosure. For this purpose, the enclosure not only offers a mounting frame for a maximum of one 7x40mm full copper radiator of the Alphacool NexXxoS series. The optionally available Alphacool ES 40 mm fans with PWM control ensure optimum cooling performance.
Drives
The 1U server rack offers mounting options for two 5.25" drives on the left and right side of the front. Each 5.25" bay offers the alternative of mounting two 3.5" drives. A holding frame for mounting up to four 2.5" drives is pre-mounted in the centre front. This holding frame can be mounted at five other positions in the enclosure.
Mainboard
For mounting an SSI-EBB mainboard, all the usual screw connection options in the classic ATX format are available. This includes all mounting holes for Mini-ITX to EE-ATX. A graphics card in PCIe or 0.8" low-profile format can also be installed via a riser cable. A corresponding panel for 0.8" cards is pre-mounted in the case.
Water cooling for 490W waste heat
With an appropriate water cooling system, up to 490W of waste heat can be dissipated in this case. Alphacool offers special water cooling sets for this purpose, which can be individually configured and are delivered to the customer pre-filled. The mounting frame for the radiator and fans can be moved within the enclosure to suit any set-up.
Please note: The case comes without I/O panel. Alphacool offers a separate set of I/O panel and cable set under item number 1021066.
