The EK-D-RGB 6-Way Splitter Cable allows users to connect up to six digitally addressable RGB products to a single D-RGB (addressable) motherboard or controller header so that they can synchronize all their D-RGB products.
It features standard 3-pin D-RGB headers and the male-male connector pins are also included in the packaging. The splitter cable can be used with any standard 3-pin 5V D-RGB controller or any of the popular RGB sync technologies from all major motherboard manufacturers. The arrow marking on the 3-pin LED connector is to be aligned with the +5V marking on the D-RGB (addressable) header.
Please refer to the motherboard manufacturer manual or RGB controller manufacturer manual for LED type compatibility, maximum power load and maximum allowed LED strip length. With the use of the Phobya Flexlight strip it is now possible to shine a light into every corner of your enclosure with even more LEDs! The 4-Pin Molex extension loops through the required energy and hence still allows use of the PSU connector. For mounting the pre-applied adhesive tape at the back of the strips. Hence mounting of the Flexlights is easy to do in any spot in the enclosure.
Many possibilities allow many different lighting effects: At the in- or outside of the enclosure, wrapped around the reservoir or simply put at the base of the enclosure. Of course shortening of the Flexlight strips is possible without problems, simply cut them to the desired length! Please note that the cut should only be made at the cut marks (every third LED), as the last LEDs will not functions otherwise. Even extension is possible for users with soldering experience. This even allows combination of Flexlights in different colours!
