The Ben Nevis (Rev. C) from Alpenföhn impresses on the one hand with its fantastic price-performance ratio, and on the other hand with its performance and noise levels.
The three 6 mm thick copper heat pipes are pressed directly onto the CPU, absorbing heat straight from the processor and then channeling it without detours to the countless aluminium fins. This method ensures very effective cooling with conventional thermal paste.
The already installed Cone 120 mm PWM fan provides a strong airflow of 95.14 m³/h through the fine aluminium fins for rapid and efficient heat dissipation. Despite its excellent cooling capacity of 140 watts TDP, the fan is surprisingly quiet, operating at a maximum of 20.2 dB(A) when spinning at its top speed of 1,600 RPM.
In addition to performance, the Ben Nevis (Rev. C) also shines with its now further expanded compatibility. Its mounting system offers easy and secure installation on AMD and Intel sockets 1700, 1851, 1200, 1150, 1151, 1155, 1156, AM5, AM4, AM3(+), AM2(+) as well as FM1.
Thanks to the Shock KILLER POLE, shocks during system transport or shipping are reliably absorbed within the CPU cooler. Additionally, the Shock KILLER POLE provides greater stability against bending of the aluminium fins.
